AAWSVH was formed in 1897. The association is open to all students who attended during at least one academic year at WSVH; it is not necessary to have graduated from the school. Staff who were employed at WSVH during an academic year are also eligible for membership. Other persons with ties to the school may become associate members, but may not vote in elections. Click here to find out more about membership. We meet triennially, at the school in Janesville. Historically, attendance at the meeting numbers between 100 and 150 former students. 25 YEARS AGO (1979)50 YEARS AGO (1954)75 YEARS AGO (1929)The Christmas recital of 1928 was postponed until January, due to high prevalence of flu among the staff and students. Because all the kindergarten teachers were ill, 15 kindergarteners were sent home a week early for their Christmas break. Then a major snowstorm over New Year's prevented everyone from getting back in time.
