There are many interesting stories from the past history of the School. Here are some of them for your enjoyment.
Flu at SchoolThe Christmas recital of 1928 was postponed until January, due to high prevalence of flu among the staff and students. Because all the kindergarten teachers were ill, 15 kindergarteners were sent home a week early for their Christmas break. Then a major snowstorm over New Year's prevented everyone from getting back in time. January 7, for the first time in history, the Governor's inauguration ceremonies were broadcast; students listened in on the kindergarten radio.
