Users of this web site agree to the following policies:

PRIVILEGES & RIGHTS OF VISITORS

All visitors have the right to privacy in their personal communications.  Private communications will not be knowingly publicized unless permission has been secured prior to posting.

All visitors deserve to fully use and experience the materials on this site.  Site down time will be minimized.  Malicious attempts to curtail general or individual enjoyment of the site will result in permanent expulsion from the site.

To the extent possible, members will be protected from harassment or unwanted or unsolicited contact.  Any member who receives threatening or unwelcome communications through this site should bring them to the attention of the web master.

As this is the alumni site of an educational institution, the site endeavors to be a free and open forum for expression, including viewpoints that may be strange, unorthodox, or unpopular.  However, this freedom also guarantees opposing viewpoints the same opportunity.  It is understood that some views may be met with harsh criticism, provided that such criticism remains professional and does not constitute harassment.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF VISITORS

Accounts and passwords may not be shared under any circumstances.  Violations of this policy that can be traced to an individual account name will be treated as the sole responsibility of the account owner--regardless of who actually committed the offense.

Purposeful degradation of network performance will not be tolerated.  Virus transmission, chain letters and mail bombs are examples of activities prohibited for this reason.

No user will be allowed to harass or initiate otherwise unwelcome communications or conduct toward another user through the facilities offered on this site.

Personal attacks (i.e. flaming) are not acceptable on this site.  Offensive or inflammatory speech should also be avoided.  Victims of flaming should report all such attacks directly to the web master.

Posting personal communications to a public forum without the original author's prior consent is prohibited.  However, if the material has previously been posted in another public forum, it may be posted with proper attribution.

Information presented herein is for the benefit or entertainment of all visitors and may not be used for the personal gain of any individual.

Materials presented on this site are originally created for the sole use of AAWSVH as an organization.  These materials may not be copied or reproduced in any fashion without the express written permission of AAWSVH.  Contributors retain certain rights over the original form of their contributions.

The Members Only section of this site is reserved for active, paid-up members of AAWSVH, and is secured.  AAWSVH reserves the right to remove access from registered users whose membership is terminated or becomes inactive.

Visitors may not use this site for any commercial purpose, illegal activity, or other purpose that would generally be considered offensive to the average member.  AAWSVH reserves the right to remove such material or access  immediately upon discovery.
